Log Cabin Quilt with Meagan Guité
Log Cabin is a classic quilt pattern, great for beginners and intermediate quilters, with endless possibilities in color and layout design. This pattern will make it seem like you are a seasoned quilter, even if this is your very first quilt! This series of three Sundays in April will walk you through all the steps needed in order to end with a quilt top by the end of the month. The first Sunday will be fabric choice and the basics of rotary cutting; the second Sunday will get you well into making your blocks; and the third Sunday will have you assembling your quilt top and borders. These classes will set you up with enough knowledge each week to go home and work on your quilt in preparation for the next class. A true Quilt-Making 101, this class will have you not only successfully making your first quilt, but will also familiarize you with a pattern perfect for re-imagining and stitching up again and again!
Materials Needed: Log Cabin Quilt pattern; quilting-weight cotton fabric for your desired quilt size; 100% cotton thread. You may wish to try an extra-sharp Microtex sewing needle for your machine too!
Sundays, April 7, 14, & 28, noon – 3:00pm SOLD OUT!
$65 (plus materials). Space is limited to 2-6 students.
